Marzena Bobrzecka finished the Art High School in Nowy Wiśnicz (applied ceramics). She graduated from the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław (ceramic art and design) and the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków (culture studies). She received a scholarship of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in the second edition of the programme ‘Doktorat Wdrożeniowy’ and since 2018 she has participated in a third-cycle programme at the Interfaculty Doctoral School of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław. At the same time she has worked as a designer in AxPro Carpets – a leading producer of floor-coverings and carpets in Poland. In her artistic work she focuses mainly on the area of ceramics, sculpture and industrial design for textile industry.

Ukończyła Liceum Plastyczne w Nowym Wiśniczu (ceramika użytkowa). Absolwentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych im. E. Gepperta we Wrocławiu (sztuka i wzornictwo ceramiki) oraz Akademii Górniczo-Hutniczej w Krakowie (kulturoznawstwo). Jest stypendystką II edycji programu MNiSW „Doktorat Wdrożeniowy" i od października 2018 roku realizuje program studiów doktoranckich na Międzywydziałowych Studiach Doktoranckich na ASP im. Eugeniusza Gepperta we Wrocławiu. Jednocześnie pracuje jako projektant w firmie AxPro Carpets – wiodącego producenta wykładzin i dywanów w Polsce. W swojej praktyce artystycznej działa głównie w obszarze ceramiki i rzeźby oraz wzornictwa przemysłowego dla branży włókienniczej.
